Am I

Are you a good judge of character?

A good judge of character?

Sometimes, yes, but other times, I want to see the best in people; usually, the ones trying so hard are the ones that end up having me watch them all the time.

If I’m alert when you come around me, and I see who you are through my eyes and do not listen to other’s opinions, then yes, I’m on point in seeing you for you.

But other times, I feel naive to judging others’ character, but once I figure you out, it’s hard for me to see you in a new light.

I think I’m too gullible. I always want to believe the best in people and it leads to disappointment.

Yeah, but some people put on a good act until their true self shines through.

  2. joyindestructible – New Mexico – I'm a working class woman who loves to write about what Jesus has done for me and sometimes, I like to write about other things. I'm no theologian and I have no organized ministry that I'll be asking you to support. Simply, the most valuable gift of my life is my relationship with God through faith in Jesus. The more I share Jesus the deeper my faith grows.

We can never see all of anyone. Not even those closest to us that we’ve know for years. I guess what we look for really, is what is in them that might hurt us. Then we have to choose whether to stay away and keep ourselves safe or try and learn to love them despite what we don’t like in them. All of us are a mixture of good and evil and we choose which to employ in life but always, it is choosing good to overwhelm evil that keeps evil from overwhelming ourselves. Employing evil makes monsters out of human beings and maybe there is a point of no turning back, I’m not sure but for most of us can change our behavior if we choose to. None of us can make that choice for any other. Sorry…I think I went off a bit. lol

No, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this matter with me you are right. We have a choice, and I need to weigh it out when it comes to letting people stay in my life and how I react to the situation, too. So, I thank you for commenting on such knowledge, too.
