Where do I
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
See myself in 10 years?
Um hopefully in a better place I am in now job wise.
Spiritually, I feel God is blessing me quite nicely as I think life is calm and peaceful, and I’m healthier than ever, so I have no complaints. I would love to continue having great faith and leaning on God first.
In ten years, I would love to be a successful, confident coach for women and help at least 24 women or more a year. Depending on the length, I would still write poetry and fiction and have 20 books, two a year or more.
I would also have traveled around the world, taken tons of photos, eaten tons of good food, and spent time keeping old and new relationships strong.
Also, get married, start a family, get a dog or two, live in a nice-sized rancher, and live a comfortable life.
But whatever happens in ten years, I know I worked hard, and God will give me what I deserve.

What book
What book could you read over and over again?
Could I read over And over again?
The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill because it’s a great book and so interesting it makes me want to read it again and again.
Also, I am a little biased, but my first poetry book “Words Are All I Have,” keeps motivating me and showing me how powerful words are. I love the poems I’ve written at times when I needed an outlet and something that expressed what I was going through, and each piece is so relatable. Also, it’s an excellent place to go back to since I haven’t written as consistently as I have before.

What job
What job would you do for free?
Would I do for free?
I would say blogging and art, as those are two things I love to do.
But I’m not sure my art would pay any bills, but my soul still calls for me to make it.
I’ve learned to stop what I’m doing and create as I try to live by listening to my body and mind, for self-care is essential.
That’s where blogging comes in. It’s been my source of getting my words and emotions out and connecting with great people, so I’m now happy to write for free here.
To write or try to draw is like breathing; it comes and goes, but without it, who am I?
I am working to find my words, and as much as they disappear and reappear, that’s the fun of the job because when they come back, it’s incredible. The feeling that flows inside me fills me up with hope and joy the feeling of seeing something great over and over.
Now that’s a job worth working for free to me! Every day, a poem or piece lights someone up or makes them feel something from my words that they keep returning for more now. That’s the meaning of a job well done for me.
Don’t try
So hard because I won’t thank you for the help I didn’t ask for.
You keep crossing lines like you’re trying to prove something to someone.
And I don’t care anymore because I’m here for me, and I know the fight isn’t worth it, so if I hurt you, I don’t believe that it’s my fault I didn’t tell you to step on my toes, and try to show off in a place you’re not supposed to be in the first place.
So no guilt is flowing through me, and as I close the door and go to my happy place, I know you will do it again, for there is clearly no respecting my boundaries now.
