That

night on that road was a night I would not forget.

I knew it was getting late and I needed to get back soon.

Because, around here when it gets too dark that curve because more dangerous and scary.

With just enough light to guide my way as the night stars were out and I was just heading home.

I made it but driving slowly towards that cross walk made me feel as if I was testing my fate a little because I knew the risk but waited anyway to go home late that night.

And my story  could have changed and I knew it would not be for the better.

another day

another photo

another moment.

And maybe those things don’t matter for you for your not in that day or photo or moment.

But, still you start to wonder what was going on with her in that moment  or that photo and wow look at the natural lighting that is shining through that day.

And then you begin to appreciate that moment and that photo and make the time to look at more or go out a capture your own moments.

Finally

just being  able to do the simple things in my life on a weekend when the weather is good.

To be happy to just shop for good things to put into my body and to find new things to try with no worry about the time.

To lose myself in the store just  for a little while then to the checkout line I go and when done off home I go.

To plan out my week worth of meal plans and to relax before my Sunday becomes a Monday and the craziness all starts over again.

The unwanted drama that will come our way unknowingly when we are already  buried in work with no help or escape insight.

We will smile and get through it by thinking about the relax and happy moments we experienced over the weekend when there was no one to bother us.

I haven’t

Japanese’s Garden in Portland

so much beauty in one place in a long time and as I stand here looking at all the colors and just wonder what it would be like to see this almost everyday when the weather is good.

To sit underneath this tree, to sketch this tree to take a great picture of this tree to be able to just say I saw this tree.

The experience alone would be worth seeing and being in the moment when you thought you had seen it all.

But, this tree proved you wrong and no matter how much you tried to draw, paint this tree it just never really shined the beautiful way this tree does captured by cameras but your eyes will not ever forget it.

Lake McDonald  Glacier National Park

many decision need to be made but right now all I want to do is look out at the lake and then look down at all the many different rocks.

And wonder just how many are they and see how many different colors are laying down in front of me right now.

This spot is where I go to be alone and to just write with no distracts as I know I have much to get done and not a lot of time right now.

I want and need to get lost behind the words that flow from my mind to my finger tips as I write it all down and reflect on it before hitting save or send or published.

Something

we are taught to do

but don’t always practice because we see something that makes us judge one another.

And as you wonder should you give this person a chance for they are sometimes really nasty and unfair.

They play the victim too much and in the end you suffer for their lies and mistakes.

So you begin to question should I do what my God says for I am not in her shoes and it is best to love and accept that how she behaves shouldn’t change your beliefs.

To love her or him even when you know not what they may do next to you or the good people around you is the right thing to do and you should just let it be.

You are not the one she will answer to and you have said your words now just fall back and let God take the lead.

I know

that when I open my eyes the quite and peaceful thoughts are not going to stay around.

When negativity can be around the corner at every turn I make.

Even though I know a bad moment can appear so quickly, I know that it’s just a moment it’s over before I know it.

So with my eyes close I allow the moment to pass so that this bad moment doesn’t turn into a bad day or a bad week.

I’m hoping all is well when my eyes open up and see the world and what it has to offer me next.

how I needed to see this beautiful pink sky with a rainbow shining so brightly.

For lately things have been a little to down for me.

All I wanted to do was smile and laugh and be at ease when it comes to the life that I live and to not worry or wonder what will become of me after yesterday.

Today is a new day and it feels like I have been blessed with a new mindset that blows away all the things that have driven me mad or made me so frustrated.

The time to sit back and let things pass me by is gone and for that I want to see more rainbows in my life.

For the light is so much more easier to navigate through the storms then if I just let the darkness win in the end.

Letting

go of winter and letting spring in as the days  get warmer and the layers start to fall off.

To be able to breathe in the fresh air and to feel the warmth from the sun on my skin.

I know the warmth comes with many rainy days but just to have one nice day is all that I am looking forward too now.

To be able to want to stay outside longer than five minutes if that is even bearable.

To fall and not worry about getting back up so quickly in fear you may get sick or freeze to death.

To just completely let everything around you just slow down and pause for a second or more and to truly be able to think through all you have been going through.

many walls I have had to break down just to get to the center of who you are.

The journey has been quite tiring but the result at the end of knowing who you are and what you stand for has been worth it.

I wish you would see how much you mean to me and those around you and you would give yourself more credit when it comes to this life that you live.

We all make mistakes but if we own up to what we did wrong and pay attention next time things would be more easy for me and you.

I know that every hole I fill back up after truly getting to know you is worth the pain of talking it through because you are so much less stressed now and you are truly living now and doubt is something you barely worry about these days.

Going

through so many hoops

just to get back to what feels right again.

Trying to keep moving forward because going back is not an option.

I will hold on to what I feel can help me get to the top and out of this place

that feels so full of darkness.

The pull to get to somewhere that will make me happy and content with the decisions that I’ve made.

what I wanted to play out here with this spot light shining down on me

or did I just want to play and let my music speak for me the things that I’ m going through.

Will I lose my way when the lime light has become too much or will I out shine the light and stay true to who I am this time.

For its me who has to live with this decision for much longer than that light is shining down on me on the stage that night.

When

I see something as different as her

I see the  beauty that is her and the beauty of the art on her.

I see someone like me just trying to express one’s self and not

worry about the outcome that comes with someone else’s opinion about what I can and can not do.

I see someone strong enough to go through the sessions after sessions to get each tattoo on her body.

Someone who took the time to decide where each piece will go and not stopping just at one.

Someone who took the art of putting something on paper or a canvas and made them the artwork that gets more views from simple walking down the street or riding the metro.

The kind of beauty that has a story behind it all and this story will touch you in one way or another.

It will make you want to get to know her and to treat her the way you want to be treated and in the end you will always stand up for her because everyone just wants to be accepted and protected.

Still cold

Photo by Nachelle Nocom on Unsplash

there with all the cold air and the snow that had fallen the day before and right now all that I can do is drink something heat to warm my soul as everything else starts to be out of whack today.

For once it’s just nice to be inside and not have to stress about what is going on outside my window right now.

I do not know when this storm will pass but I know that this precious time that I am getting doesn’t come around as much as I want it too.

So I am content with what I have to do right now inside a way from the cold for now.

an owl

I’m always up at night trying to enjoy the little moments left in the day.

So tonight I’m going out to let loose and finally let my hair down and just experience each moment that comes my way.

It’s been too long since I’ve just let myself truly breathe and live again after just pushing through a long day at work.
