Daily Prompt: Pensive

I’m in a Pensive mood today, so deep in thought

that writing right now is hard for, I sit here trying to say

something well anything and I get distracted.

For one thought has me so focused on it that the

outside world keeps fading away and I find myself

surprised that an hour has gone by and, yet nothing is

on the page in front of me.

I shake my head and try to hurry up with something to say

before I go back into the cave of my thoughts, I could be in there

for days and maybe I won’t really mind.

This little get way inside my mind for just a day.
