Daily Prompt: Aimless

Advertisements

Some days I aimlessly go through my day not

trying to accomplish getting anything done.

For I’m just too tired or just not in the mood

or I just let the words in my head just aimlessly

fall onto the page and try to make sense of it later.

Sometimes a little aimless moments go along way

for it helps me to just not focus on anything when it becomes

to stressful to write or think.

Having a little aimless moments are not a bad thing, and is something

that is so needed after a long day at work or trying to accomplish anything.

Happy Father’s Day

Advertisements

Today is such a great day to be grateful for the father’s in our life

and the father’s we got to know.

Some father’s are gone and may they rest in peace and I hope that

the families are remember the man they are missing right now.

Then there are the father’s who may not be around and the mother’s

are being the dad  too, I  want them to know they’re doing a great job and to

keep up the hard work.

Father’s day is just a day but our father’s are always appreciated year around and that

goes for my father and God who is a father to me as well.

I am grateful for the time and memories I have with my dad and I hope that I have many

more for I love my dad with all my heart and, I know one day isn’t enough to show him how much I love him and how much my sisters love him too.

I hope everyone is enjoying this day and showing their love one’s how much

they mean to them not just today but everyday.

For without  a father, we wouldn’t be here.

Lets be glad for the things we have in our life and not worry about the things

we don’t have for it will all workout in the end.

Daily Prompt: Perfection

Advertisements

Sometimes we think perfection is how everything

is supposed to be.

But the truth is how can we expect everything to be perfect

when were not perfect ourselves.

Perfection is like an dead-end road, there is only one way out of it

and that’s accepting that perfection isn’t something you should worry

about.

The City

Advertisements

Lights are beautiful and as you travel from city to city

those lights at night are breath-taking.

And it makes you glad you were able to witness them every time

you visit.

And when you see the lights every night you feel so blessed to live in the

city and not just visit.

This city is your home and you find new treasures in that city everyday or

every other weekend.

Your city is your inspiration when creating the art that flows from your fingers

to the paper or the computer, phone.

You enjoy finding new things to learn and you enjoy the new company you find

along the way as well.

Your city is your hope that things will and can be better for you, with just a little

trust your city will bring so much more for you than you last city or small town did.

Daily Prompt: Open

Advertisements

Open your eyes so you can see that

things are changing for good.

Things have never been so clear for me

as I open my eyes for the first time that day.

My vision of what is meant to be has grown

more now that I’m open to new possibilities.

Daily Prompt: Natural

Advertisements

It’s Natural to grow up

and to grow into yourself.

Or to grow out of things that

no longer hold your interest.

And sometimes it’s natural to

go your own way and not let others

control what you do or don’t do.

So say no naturally to peer pressure

and love what you love to do.

Daily Prompt: Struggle

Advertisements

The thing with struggle is no one wants to struggle

or admit their struggling.

For they fear others will judge them for the things they

can or not control but choose to handle it one way and you may think

your way is better.

To struggle is to be alive and that something we are glad to be but

we must realize that everyone struggles.

God is here for me when I struggle and it’s a wonderful feeling to know that

I am not alone in my time of need.

I used to struggle on my own and I would try to wrap it all around in my head and, try to figure out how I could make it all better and there just seemed to always be something missing.

Even when the struggle was gone, my mind and heart knew it didn’t have to be this way and that’s when I truly let my God in.

And I know now that my struggles are not as bad as I fooled myself and even if they are I am not ever alone.

I’ll take the many struggles that life throws my way just be blessed to have the company of my god.

Struggles come and go, that’s all try to help when we can and not let these struggle break us or make us rethink the wonderful things we have yet to explore and enjoy.

Daily Prompt: Rebuild

Advertisements

Rebuild me up like a computer when I’m

Messing up in life.

Don’t leave me down where things seem more dark

Then it really is.

rebuild me when I’m  tore like a piece of paper tape me

Back together until I’m whole again.

Don’t you dare walk away from me when I’m not rebuilt

The way you want me to be.

You wanted a new me and you got, so don’t look away or

Shake your head when I’m more or less than what you expected.

Because, something’s are  too precious to just rip apart and try to rebuild

It again, for it will never be the same in the end.

Daily Propmt: Understanding

Advertisements

Sometimes it’s hard to be understanding when you know your right and their wrong.

But, we all need to be understanding or when it’s our time to receive some understanding in a situation in our lives.

We’re going to be left hanging and maybe a little mad that our so-called friend didn’t show some compassion towards us.

And when we call them on it, they will tell us all the times we brush them off and how that made them feel.

And we’re going to find some understanding in the situation we put ourselves in.

Because we didn’t think of their feelings for we didn’t understand or we just didn’t care enough to listen.

Daily Prompt: Simplicity

I’m greatly impressed that you think everything in your life is always going to be Simplicity.

You feel that if you simply grin and bear it that life will just drop at your feet and you can just walk all over it.

I don’t want to be around when reality checks in and your flat on your back.

Wishing you have listened to me and realized not everything in life is simple.

Somethings take lots of effort to just get it to work.

Daily Prompt: Mountain

Advertisements

I always liked to look at the mountains for there so high up.

That sometimes it’s like there touching the clouds and that’s a nice sight to look at.

Those mountains are standing strong and tall and that’s what we need to do in life.

When things get tough, let’s not run from our fears or those moments of disappointment.

Lets be more like the mountain and stand strong during the worst storms of our lives.

Even the ones that are small but come in wave after wave.

Even when your knocked down, don’t let whatever it is win.

Get back up and be like the mountain you were born to be.

Daily Prompt: Transformation

Advertisements

You transfer right in front of my eyes like a butterfly.

You didn’t change over night but it took time for you to finally kick away the last piece of who you used to be.

And accept the new improved you, like butterfly you went in with all your insecurities and came out.

With so much confidence that you no longer walked with your head down.

But you walked through your life now with your head up high and, your transformation was complete.

And just something amazing to watch from the beginning to end.

Daily Prompt: Embrassing

Advertisements

Everyone has had an Embarrassing moment or two.

Maybe you were having a good day and then got on the bus and, as you walked down the stairs to get off.

Somehow you tripped and went down quick but slowly you got up and everyone on the bus including the driver saw you went down.

Your asked if you’re okay and you say yes.

And as you walk away your embarrassed and shocked that just happened to you.

But sooner or later that moment is forgotten and doesn’t hold that embarrassing feeling anymore.

And now you can laugh about it for you walked away and never saw those people again.

Daily Prompt: Connected

Advertisements

We all go through life connected to people

who are connected to other people we may not know.

But what if we really followed the connections to other how

many of those connection would lead back to yourself.

I’ve met other people from out-of-state and some how they

know someone I’ve known from high school and yet I never

met them.

But,  we were so close that it’s a surprise to me that our paths

never crossed.

Some connections are a near miss, but some how we end up still

meeting.

And maybe we become friends or just acquaintances but in the

end we connected even in a small way.
