Daily Prompt: Promises

I promised you so much more than I’m willing to give to you right now.

And yes it sucks but I’m so tired I don’t seem to be able to give you more energy then I can give myself.

I want to say I feel bad that I broke this promise to you.

But, I couldn’t predict that this would happen and so apart of me is sorry and I’ll say the words next time I see you.

But right now I’m just trying to get the strength to get out of bed when my body just screams for more sleep.
