Daily Prompt: Opaque

It dark out when the fight broke out

with the smears on the window.

Every moment they made was so blurred that

I couldn’t tell who was winning.

All I can hear was the loud voices and bark of a dog

then the light from my neighbor’s house all come on at once

and then feet steps and a door opening.

To car doors closing as the nightly fight interrupted and broken up

for the cops show up.
