I was stung by you and the pain was unbearable that I didn’t know how much longer I could take it.

But, I took a deep breath and I calmed my nerves enough to make it through the horrible days after.

For I knew I had to fight for myself to get back what I thought I had lost all this time.

  1. Grit and determination to fight for not only what we believe is lost, but really for ourselves. Powerful words — thank you so much for sharing 🙂

    1. mywords2228 – Love writing poetry and reading tons of books. I also write short fiction stories and hope to include them on my page soon; I hope you enjoy my work, and thanks for stopping by my page.
