Maybe I

Put too much faith in others that I lost my way.

Which made me lose myself along the way.

Leading me on a path of destruction so fast I didn’t see how I arrived.

I just knew things were off when there was no longer anyone around me.

My eyes were open, and my reality is of the situation was clear.

I had to rebuild and focus on myself before allowing myself to bring someone else into my life.

Only time will tell if I stay on this new path or end up stumbling off again.
