Even when I’m not good to myself

Even when I have given up on myself you never hold me back.

And even though I don’t lean on as much as I should.

You still light me up inside Lord and you help me realize I need to slow down and have my faith in myself as a person and a writer.

You gave me all I needed to succeed in this world.

Now it’s time for me to do something about it for nothing becomes something without action.
