Words of wisdom

Words of foolishness

Words of strength when I am down.

Words of love when I feel lonely

Words have so much power it’s sometimes better to say silent when you’re mad or frustrated.

And these words won’t make the situation better, but you still let them out anyway.

Words where have you gone when I need you the most?

Please say what I can’t seem to show with my actions.

Words give me courage when all I want to do is shake in fear of the unknown.

Getting closer to the edge of finding out what is suitable for me.

And just when I thought I seen and heard it all.

Something completely shocking happens, and surprisingly, I’m back on track to where I’m supposed to be.

I’m working harder than I was before and setting goals and meeting them with no problem insight.

Christmas this

Year so elegant and insignificant that you can’t wait for it to come and go this year.

Not that the Christmas spirit isn’t flowing through. It’s just things are off a little, and you’ve accepted the simple things this year.

But you still wish those that aren’t themselves to come back to the good as this time of year brightness things up.

That the darkness wouldn’t outrun their light as this year comes to an end.

How you wish you could pull them out of the pain you know their strong enough to over come if they would just seek the light for once.

Magic happens to like living in a Christmas movie when everything always seems to work out in the end.

Even when it probably shouldn’t but it does anyways

The joyful music plays, and the love is overflowing. You feel delightful just watching every moment because you love these cute and sometimes complicated movies that portray real-life situations.

But like these movies, the joy of them only lasts a short time before it’s over, and back to reality we go.

Saturday, fandango one word challenge

December 18, 2021, and Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). Today’s word is “bite.”

Everyone is running around buying all the sweets they can find.

Just to take a bite of this and that as Christmas is there favorite time of the year.

From cookies to chocolate to cakes and pies, everything so sweet I will bite into, my sweet tooth will be satisfied.

And maybe I will make a new resolution to cut back next year will be planned.

Asking for too much, like a child wishing to receive everything on their Christmas list.

Or an adult wanting to get away from the place that makes them miserable and start all over again.

Either way, someone will be disappointed as maybe things will play out right at first, but things may get worst.

To want change is excellent, but to go into the transition with hope and positivity can help so that these new opportunities work out better in the long run.

Week 304 of Three Line Tales

photo by Toa Heftiba via Unsplash

I could find a little space and get my creativity to flow like a beautiful waterfall. You can’t get enough of my words and feelings.

That there will never be enough time to get all things done and stop and breathe in the fresh air.

There will always be something fighting against you, but you must not give in.
