Saturday, fandango one word challenge

Advertisements

December 18, 2021, and Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). Today’s word is “bite.”

Everyone is running around buying all the sweets they can find.

Just to take a bite of this and that as Christmas is there favorite time of the year.

From cookies to chocolate to cakes and pies, everything so sweet I will bite into, my sweet tooth will be satisfied.

And maybe I will make a new resolution to cut back next year will be planned.

things go so wrong
where all I feel is anger and no understanding
about this matter at hand.
I know there will be a light at the end of this storm,
but just when I thought I would see the rainbow, it all comes crashing down again.
Leaving me trying to take a breather to handle what is coming my way yet again.
Making so many thoughts come up as I feel I’m back in an environment that is not good for me or anyone at this point.
But like everything else in my life, I have to keep moving forward, and maybe one day, things will finally be good again.

She was

So passionate about her work

That if you asked her about it.

You were in for a treat

She strongly believed that her way of thinking.

Was the only way to go

And as she tried to cram all her idea into your head.

You would have to politely decline her offer for your mind.

Couldn’t take all her craziness in one session.

But, you won’t be coming back to hear more either.

For her forceful ways were not just in her words but her hand gesture too.

And being accidentally slapped in the arm one or two times is enough for me.

To walk away and accept she won’t change and there will be more victims.

My take on June 13, 2020 Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC) the word is “cognizant.”

Feel you are cognizant on everything.

And as you stand around challenging everyone that you are and will always be the smarter one.

You don’t back down when someone tries to outsmart you or make a point to well correct you.

For you are always a step ahead of them for somehow you use your disadvantage against them.

And I’m starting to think you maybe be knowledgeable on most things and maybe a little crazy and scary too.

I  always thought our friendship was subtle  enough that no matter what came our way nothing could break it.

The memories that we shared together always felt like we were meant to know each other and be there for each other through the challenges that life kept throwing at us.

I know that no matter what we will always support each other and even when we are far from each other the bond we share is always hard to describe to others but for us it’s just always felt right.

You are the one always checking up on me and even when we feel we have lost connection, somehow we reconnect like no time has ever passed us by and for that I am grateful.
