right into the storm and expecting a different outcome.

And when you see and feel the storm winning.

You start to fear the outcome as if it would never hurt you.

And when it’s all said and done, and you may survive it this time.

But how many more times do you need to play with your life to realize you’re playing with fire, and the next time, you might get burned?

I, for one, don’t want to burn down all the bridges of opportunities I may have.

Life itself is full of ups and down but I never blindly go seeking out the things I know will end my sailing days.

So before I sail out into the storm, I want to be prepared for what I may face and move on when I find a suitable space to live in, not just survive in.

In my words and energy

As the days go on, I keep asking myself why I am even showing up.

My levels are so low, yet I push on, for I know I’m the only one they can account for.

But my days of rest are coming at me fast, and then I will be off the grid.

Recharging is needed, but I also feel like I need a miracle because I don’t want the joy of the new year to end so soon.

Challenge you because you tell them the truth.

They fight you because they know they are wrong.

And for them to admit that you are right and that what you said was helpful.

They know that would mean they have openly admitted they are not bright or clever enough to fool you or those around them.

Which won’t do as they won’t be stopped like those who came before them, for they have a plan, and in the end, the results will forever be their favor.

At least that’s what they think, but you, my friend, have been walked over for we’ll far too long and deserve so much more.

And today, as the sun shines bright, the battle will be fought for you, and your side will win, and there will be no us against you, for you will be on top.

Life all about other than taking the time to look at our hopes and dreams.

Or to experience great sorrow where we cry as if there is no tomorrow.

Only to realize that we must feel hurt and pain sometimes.

But that at every dark tunnel has a light shining brightly at the end.

And that is where hope comes in and gives us the push we need to carry on.
