Fall when life trips me up

With things unexpectedly happens

And the words hit me like ice-cold water, and I’m frozen in place.

I can’t shake the feeling of how one sentence turned everything upside down.

I felt like the high I had been riding began to deflate, and there was no coming back for me.

Up and down, my mood went throughout the day like a rollercoaster.

Then I investigated what had affected me and realized it wasn’t so bad.

As I read on and on, I didn’t feel the way they did, and I realized someone would always try to tear something down.

Even the most minor mistakes will make it bigger.

But in the end, the positivity canceled their negativity, and I could finally move on and forget about this fall.
