As the day

Ends, and what was light turns into darkness.

I look up and smile as today is a good day

I can stand here and be open and free

I can be excited and not fall short in the end.

For the first time, things are starting to fall into place, and there is no coming back from what I left behind.

It’s time to accept that more is out there, and I’m ready to explore it as I have found some great things in darker times.

Build me up from the things that want to tear me down for good.

Like fear and doubt

They play me like a yo-yo 🪀

Sometimes I feel I’m strong enough not to let fear get me down or hold me back.

But the next day I feel fear knocking on my door again.

Trying to make me doubt the things I’m working hard for.

So afraid sometimes of what others think that I forget what I believe first matters.

I know myself and but sometimes I don’t know why I feel the way I do.

My life is quiet, and I like it that way, but sometimes I want noise.

And we’ll see my point; everything changes, and fear and doubt won’t stop us, but I know they can slow me down.

I am strong and I can overcome these things but it won’t happen all at once.

It’s time.

To spend time together wouldn‘t that be nice

Out in the woods in a cabin with a big window that has a sitting nook

We can eat a nice breakfast and see the great peaceful view.

Get lost in conversion and just cuddle up.

Or we can read books and appreciate the quietness we have craved so much lately.

No alarms to go off and tell us when to get up just naturally waking up when we are ready.

Oh, what a couple of days of this relaxing time away would do for us if only we took the time to plan it and go through with it.

Something has

Shifted in me the moment

I accepted my past and my future

And started to live in the present, truly

With little fear standing in my way, I felt unstoppable.

I can see myself in a new light as the world moves around me.

I no longer feel trapped by this unknown force.

I can see how I can go far and take action to get it done.

I’m no longer standing in my way, and every day is hopeful for me.

Happy Mother’s Day

Everyone!

I hope you enjoy your day with your loved ones. Or get a moment to relax and appreciate the memories, as today may be different for us all.

I just had an excellent breakfast with my mother and the rest of my family.

I feel truly blessed to spend time with my mother, my rock and biggest supporter.

We have so many memories together that I will always cherish them.

Today is just another day of showing her how much I love her.
