Stop reading and no-one writes to you.
Stop up your heart and no-one can get in.
Stop talking and no-one sees your answers.
Stop and stop.
Stop and start.
Stop and stare.
Stop smiling and watch them frown.
Good to hear from you, my friend, and yeah, that is all true, but I think I’d do it all to smile at myself. And sometimes, they don’t read it, but the truth is when you have a calling to write, it’s hard to stop. Even if your audience is just yourself or another person, it’s still worth the risk for me!
