Think back on your most memorable road trip.

Memorable road trip?

It would have to be when we left Hawaii and visited my aunt in California before driving to Virginia.

To stay with my grandparents while my dad was getting his new assignment in the army.

I don’t remember much other than every time we drove at night and didn’t stop at a hotel or motel; I would lay across my sister’s laps and sleep and move before they woke up.

Also, I don’t remember, but in one incident, I spilled my hot chocolate on my middle sister, and then she had to share her cup of hot chocolate with me. I guess being the baby of the family had some perks.

Also, I remember we got a room for four and sneaked in my one sister, who was asleep in the car. And we made sure they didn’t see my other sister when we got back in the car in the morning.

I also remember watching old VHS tapes in a VHS player in our van so we weren’t bored out of our minds as we kept driving. At one point, our Jerry McGuire movie got stuck, and some guy was to fix it, but we never saw the tape again.

We did get to our destination and stayed in Virginia for a couple of months but soon ended up in Maryland, and sadly, that was the end of a long road trip.
