What’s the thing

What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

I’m most scared to do. What would it take to get me to do it?

So, the thing I’m most scared to do is public speaking and anything like making videos.

So, I want to become a confident coach, and I’ve wanted to make a course and go through it with the women I would be helping.

I’ve had this idea for about three years now, and the only way I could get it done was to get a coach.

I did that, and the risk of investing in myself is high, but this urge to do this keeps returning to me. I don’t want to miss something God wants me to do, so I set my launch date for March 8th,2024, and decided to post about what I will do all of February.

My coach/mentor knows about it, so I’m making myself accountable by posting this today.

So, I can’t stop myself from hiding and not doing my best for this to succeed, so here I am, taking a significant risk but knowing I’m at peace, too, and I’m scared but ready to do something that feels right for me to do now.

  1. Paula R.C. Readman – England – After spending many years writing to be published and finding a small amount of success with my six books I've decided to turn my back on writing novels and focus my time on painting and writing short stories instead. The publishing world is awash with books, as every day more writers publish their books in the hope of fame and fortune. Marketing my books, I found to be both expensive and unrewarding as I competed with thousands of other books. After the publisher of my three novels decided it was a tough business as a publisher and closed their doors, I decided to call it a day, too. My first love has always been art. It would be silly of me not to focus on my paintings, which are selling much better than my books. Next year, I hope to have my first art exhibition. So, watch this space. Keep Your Dreams Alive.

I still get nervous about stand in front of an audience, but because I feel passionate about books and writing once I start my nervousness leaves me.

Excellent, thanks for sharing. I will keep this in mind.

  2. Take a public speaking class at your nearby community college. Best way to get rid of your fears. Speaking in front of others in a controlled place will help u conquer your fear and gain confidence. Best of luck and Break a Leg! (That means Good Luck!)

Thank you for your kind words and advice! I took a public class in college and got better, but still, the fear is there.
