isn’t much I can do right now as all the plans I have fallen through.

Time is moving slow and all I want to do is avoid the thing I don’t want to do.

And focus on the things that make me feel alive again.

Being positive seems hard as everything in me shuts down the minute I realize where I have to go today.

It has become clear to me that I want out and there is no more chances to give.

A plan will have to be in the works so I can find myself on the outside and not stuck inside this box of bad luck.

Riding

my bicycle through the streets with all ages of children and adults as we show off our Christmas spirits.

We are brave and we are happy to give up and commit to something that is more about someone else and for the first time not about us.

We are united as one as we ride and ride until the end of the ride comes and everyone gets a drinks and snacks until we are ready  to go home and take a rest for we worked  so hard today.

I am

Frustrated and feed up and, yet here I am still dealing with you.

I can’t keep standing by and letting you get away with this and then turn around and act like you are so great.

It takes time to do what we have to do and as it gets cold it seems you are standing around daydreaming as we run around doing what’s best for us.

I know the day will come where I will not be frustrated or feed up for I will not be around to watch you do what you think you are doing well.

You will probably not think back to the things that went wrong and think was I apart of that?

No you will not think another second about the things that go wrong for you don’t make mistakes.

Three Line Tales, Week 121

photo by Julian Lozano via Unsplash

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

I don’t want to say yes to you or anyone right now, for I just want to be left alone and not bothered.

I just need things to be quite and I just don’t want to fight this anymore for if I don’t get this break I’m going to scream.

I don’t want to fall apart because of the stress is just too much so I will say no because, saying yes is not helping me and right now I’m barely holding on.

they knew the truth about your wicked ways.

The breath so hot it feels like a dragon breathing down my neck.

The strength of your words always feel like I’m drowning with bricks tied to my feet.

The days that I count until you’re not around to hunt me down like a wolf looking for its next meal.

The sweat I feel dripping down my neck as I fear what will happen to me if I mess up again in front of you.

No witnesses to watch you take your anger out on me.

I want to be free from this prison I live in only to wander through life not knowing what to do next with my desire to be free at last.

Daily Prompt: Expect

Advertisements

I expected you to be there but as I looked out onto the stage you were not there.

My nerves started to get the best of me as I continued to look out into the crowd.

But, then you walked in and the lights dimmed and I smiled and found my place.

The show started and we all did well, I stood up straight and said my line with perfection.

The crowd went wild as the show ended, so much applause.

With big smiles on our faces we all took a bow.

And as the curtain went down you ran up to me and placed a single rose in my hand.

The perfect ending to a wonderful night.

longer can I sit here pretending this isn’t hurting me.

Just so you can be seen as a picture of perfection.

You want everyone to see Your greatness but, in reality your hiding who you are.

Because, you’re a monster and you think what you’ve done to me is acceptable.

My scars aren’t physical but emotional and as I walk around like a wounded creature.

You look for opportunity to catch me off guard like it’s a game to you.

But, no more I say as the leaves of fall blow around and winter creeps in.

I won’t be around and By the time you realize I’m gone.

I’ll be too far away for you to get me back.

And finally I’ll be safe and not afraid to stand up for myself.

He was tempted by her smile and the small lick of her lips.

And he was a goner

he never had a chance to get away,

he was hers with just that one look.

She knew with one kiss he would be hers and he would regret it but,for now she was going to have some fun.

He felt fine at first until he was all alone and everyone was Turning their backs on him.

Warning him that she was bad news and needed to leave her for they know what’s best for him.

And at first he didn’t want to listen to them but, soon standing outside in the rain he saw what she could do to a guy.

And he ran so fast and so hard that he didn’t stop until he got home.

With one call he ended things and he knew if he was tempted again he wouldn’t say yes to a smile that looked to good to be true.

How do

I know it will all workout even after

All  the hard work I’ve done.

Should I patiently wait and see how it will work out.

Or should I take matters into my own hands and make sure it all works out.

Sometimes my patience is limited and the time it takes to wait feels like forever and ever.

And as I become inpatient, the more my anxiety kicks in on how these results will turn out for me.

For the doubt starts to worm his way in and all I can think of is this is going to end badly.

And most time it all works out and I tell myself to just have a little bit more faith next time.

And sometimes I remember that whatever happens I am capable of handling it all for my God is good all the time.

Daily Prompt: Recite

Advertisements

She stood there in front of the class ready to recite a poem she wrote.

One that was her favorite and she hoped they enjoyed it.

She took a deep breath and stated to read the poem out loud.

she could feel her voice shaking but she continued on.

And once she finished everyone clapped and the teacher asked her some questions then she sat down.

she finally let out a breath as the next person got up and talked about their self.
