October is

Advertisements

finally here

My birthday month

But also, it’s a little chilly this month, but I would rather be a little cold than hot.

It’s a perfect time to crave pumpkins and put up spooky decorations, but right now, I am calm as I cut off the top and pull out the guts and seeds inside.

It’s so calming to focus on a task that may be a little messy, but it’s a joy to see what kind of spooky face I can create.

Art takes a different form, and I am lucky to be creating it as I bundle up for warmth.

But it’s the joy and warmth inside of doing something that makes me get in the spirit of October and Halloween that truly delights me.

I am so excited about what October holds for me—and I hope it holds a lot, as this month will be one full of great memories for me!

Come with me and let’s have some fun on rides that make you scream and forget about all your daily troubles.

Forget about the little things that have being making you feel down and just laugh with me until it’s dark outside and your too tired to stay awake.

Until your day and life are good again because you feel good again and the bad things in life won’t bring you down for a while.

It’s Friday and like every Friday Julia and her family make pizza and invite over some friends and watch a movie.
The pizza is what everyone comes for but everyone always stay even after the pizza is gone and the movie is over.
Just sit together and talk about all the things that happen during the week and catch up before they all enjoy a long weekend apart or together.

Let’s go to somewhere far away before this summer ends, even though we haven’t really had a break this summer.

Let’s just go away and lose ourselves before things really get busy and time just seems to be moving too fast for us to even think about slowing down again.

Let’s sing our favorite songs until we can’t stop laughing about the time we did that and how young and silly we were.

Daily Prompt: Carousel

As a child the merry-go-round was the ride every kid wanted to go on

with all the wooden horse that were so colorful.

You just wanted to ride them and wave to your parents as they stood off to the side of the ride.

Taking pictures of you having so much fun that when the ride came to a stop, you didn’t want to get off.

But, you did and you begged to go on it again and again.

Until you became to tired and it was time to go home and dream about what an awesome day you had.

Adele Concert

Every concert is a rush

The music starts and the artist voice comes on and you feel the crowd go crazy.

And you’re happy to be apart of it and the experience for it never seems to leave your mind

you come back to it when you want to think of a good time and why you love music.

You realize that once you go to one concert, you want to go to more and more until it becomes apart of your life.

You cherish every moment with the people you go with and you hope you will be able to look back and know you lived your life to fullest and didn’t miss out on the fun moments.

I’m trying to see through the mask you put up as soon as the music came on.

You try  to just fake the fun and move to the beat.

Until we become lost in the moment as we move our bodies to the beat.

We smile at each other for a lifetime as the day melts away.

As we enjoy the melody of this song together.

Even when we grow apart, I’ll think of that moment and smile about that time we had together.

We will always have that song, that day and those smiles that melted away our troubles that day.
