She swayed to the beat of the music as she danced with the crowd

Everyone was so hyped up about the music and band that was on stage.

She had never been in a crowd this big but she was glad she had decided to come out tonight.

The air was clear and fresh and the breeze made it so much easier to be around everyone in since a tight space.

I’ve waited too long but right now this feeling is just floating in the air and the feeling of it is so strong, I fear it will knock me right over.

My fear for this to be gone grows everyday and every night that the words are left unsaid.

I don’t know if I should say something because what if I don’t really mean it and then once said it can’t be taken back.

It’s time to truly let you back in or just let you go and move on with no ties left behind in the end.

For I can’t keep moving forward with a piece of you holding me back at the same time.

In a way I have moved on but the memories of you just seem to stay even though everyone else has already faded from my mind and heart.

Why does it seem the connection I had with you is still holding on when at times I don’t think about you at all.

Like the memories of you only happen during certain seasons of the year and other times it’s like your far from my mind and then it’s like you pop up like an email from an old I didn’t expect to hear from again.

It had been a long day and rain and wind was really picking up outside

and even though the storm was pretty bad.

She continued to read her book and relax on the couch when a loud bang and lightning

scared her and the sound made her skin prickled with fear.

She decided that it was best to go upstairs and get away from all the windows and lay inside my bedroom where she would feel safe again.

It was so nice out today that I needed to take a nice slow stroll

and take a look at everything that is changing with the season coming to

an ending soon.

The morning beginning  to be cooler and something to look forward to, for I haven’t enjoyed a good morning in a while.

Just being able to enjoy the fresh air without sweating up my shirt in a matter of minutes.

My stroll helped clear my mind and help me enjoy the rest of my day as I feel like I hope the next couple of days start off this great as well.

He loved walking through his neighborhood and seeing all the nice lawns  and newly painted doors and window frames.

And seeing all the people enjoying these last weeks of summer before fall comes and everyone goes but to their super busy lives.

And as he comes to the end of his street he sees the one house that just doesn’t substandard of the neighborhood as its been long abandoned.

The bad sharp of the house seems to always bring down the positive and beautiful vibes of the neighborhood were everyone knows each other and helps out when they can.

He wishes someone could buy it and fix it up and shine some light back on it so then the neighborhood could included it in its beauty and represent what this little group of families have worked hard to keep safe.

The smell of your aftershave

was too strong to be around people.

At first I thought I was the only one

who was having a hard time breathing.

But, everyone around me was backing up

or trying to smile through the smell in the hope.

That you would move along quickly so the fresh air smell

would come back.

As you left I took a deep breath and was relieved to smell something fresh

and pleasant to smell.

I hope to not smell that horrible overpowering smell again but unfortunately it probably

will pop up again.

It was your first time cooking a meal for me

and I wasn’t sure it was edible at all but I didn’t want to be rude.

So I took one small bite and to my surprise it was more than edible,

and so I asked for seconds and it filled  me up for the night.

Afterwards we laughed at how I looked when I first saw you bring out the plates with food on them.

It was good that you weren’t offered and so we ended our night with a movie and you

promised me the next meal would be just as good or even better.

never just hide behind my words when it came to you

it’s like you knew the truth before I tried to cover up the things going on with me inside.

You never seem to let me doubt myself for too long

you always wanted me to believe that I was better than I felt I was.

That one day I would become the man you hoped and believed I would be

and even though things were changing you were still around.

But, now your going through so much and I don’t know where to start

to help you get through it all.

But, I won’t give up on you even though you are pushing and pulling me in so many directions.

I know that you care and I know that I care for you and in the end this friendship will just grow stronger.

There is no ending for us right now and I needed you to know that as you fall farther away from me.

want to say more to you but the words just won’t come

and so I find anything to just distract me until I fall asleep.

And talking to you is forgotten and I wake up with so many

things to do that I just don’t play attention to the things that I can’t find the words to express.

I don’t know when it happened but it did and I know that no matter how much

time will go by that there is no going back and things will never be the same and that’s

something I have to live with and maybe one day you will read this but for now it’s what it is.

Where this will end is unclear but, I know that I am not the women I used to be and you have to accept that now because later will be too late anyways for me.

She needed to dance so bad for the stress

and disappointment was eating her alive.

No amount of time was healing these wounds

that seemed to close and just rip open over and over again.

As she put on the music and just let herself move to the beat as

she let go of everything that was crowding her mind and driving her insane.

The headache that was  building up in her head was making it hard for her to focus on what was going on around her.

That smile she pasted on her face was becoming harder to hold as the level of her patience was slowly falling away.

But, then time was on her side and she got to get away and just let loose for a while, so she closed her eyes and danced to everything song until she was too tired to move.

And the smile on her face before she called it a night was a genuine one that she only showed everything now and then.

I dashed inside as the rain begun to pour down so hard

for thirty minutes.

I watched it come down outside and I had to come up with a new plan

for I had no clue how my day would end up going but I hoped it would still

end on a great note.

As we begun to cook the food inside and come up with fun games to play while the rain poured down so hard outside.

And soon we all forgot about the rain and just enjoyed the fun we were having together.

That day I played with the my new drone was the day you catch me by surprise, I didn’t think you were trying to distract me with the perfect gift.

But, when I turned my back around and watched my drone fly through the sky I knew I needed to bring it down and tell you how much I loved it.

And, as I turned to run to the house to tell you, I froze as I saw you walking towards your car with all your belongs and I knew you had given me my final gift that day.

The locals love their town that they grew up in and would love

to share with you the things that are happening in their town.

They would tell you there is so much going on all year and there is no

moment in their small town that something great isn’t happening.

They will tell you that even though there is some crime in their town there is

so much joy and so much development going on as well.

For awhile you may get caught up in the local things and the new things will be

great and awesome but, maybe you will feel like there is so much more you can explore than what this town has to offer.

And so you work hard to get away and soon find yourself in a new place with new locals to show you around and maybe something in this new place will show you something you don’t already know.

She walked out the door feeling so relieved.

Her hard day at work was over and done

and it had ended on a good note.

She just wanted to relax and not stress out about anything for once.

But, she knew this feeling of relief would be over soon.

And all she could hope for was a better opportunity to come her way.

And right now she had to get through the storm before she could see what was truly in store for her.

It was extremely hot that day

the type of day that you put all the windows down in your car.

And blast your radio on high and sing at the top of your lungs.

with not a care in the world who hears you or sees you.

Because this is your time to let loose and lose yourself in the music as you just take a drive around town.
