two of us.

Together our friendship makes sense and no amount of time can truly make us fall out.

Because when we come back together it’s like we pick up where we left off.

Like blue and red storm floating above us.

We are so different from each other that we have just the right skills to bring out the best in one another.

You are my blue to my red and the yin to my yang.

And when I smile you smile too, there have been moments of happiness and sadness between us.

And moments of anger and forgiveness and we have grown through it all.

Now we are adults and we are living our lives maybe not how we picture it but we are thriving no matter what.

We’ve worked hard and played even harder and where ever life throws us.

We will survive, rather it is with us being as close as we were before or just supporting each other from a distance.

For the love of this bond will go on and maybe one day it will be stronger even more.

are friends and yes we are different in so many ways

but the similarities are few but together we are always one.

We have our own style and our own smiles and dreams and hopes and we support one another because one day we may not be holding hands walking down the street together.

We may be living far apart but, in this moment we are happy and we are connected and we are all we need besides family and other friends.

We are not these young girls anymore and we have felt the burn of the world.

We have accepted somethings that we have experienced and have push back at things we disagree on.

We are four strong young ladies and in that moment we are smiling on the past as we move forward for the future.

be somebody to you and now I’m just another stranger in the crowd.

I think about all the memories and I’m grateful for them as we drift apart.

I appreciate all the times you were there for me and I was there for you too.

But,  now as we grow up and our friendship grows apart.

I want to say I miss you and sometimes I do but most times life is moving so fast I don’t have time to think of you.

Today I’m stranger but soon enough I won’t even be a memory and that’s when I’ll be erased from your history.
