I need someone

Advertisements

on days when doing it alone just doesn’t work

When four hands are better than two

When laughter is better shared than echoing off walls and you are all alone.

When all you want is hug and hugging someone else is just what you needed

When dressing up is just more fun when you have someone else to dress up with

When you want to pick on someone there must be someone else that is your target

When you just miss that person and just need to see their face.

When it takes the two of you to cause the trouble you are just dying to cause

When the joke is just funny when you have someone else to hear it too.

I need someone else to continue to pull others into this so there is fewer people alone and more people together laughing so hard that they are crying.

For there to be more love and hugs then arguments and crime.

More peace than violence and a day beginnings good and ends the same way.

I need someone who is brave and willing to play along and take the risk that needs to be taken now with me to be there along the way.

The words

I love you plays a game of cat and mouse on my lips.

As the words want out but to who am I saying it too.

So much love to give but who wants to receive it.

Time goes by and the words are going stronger.

Yet, no one rushes up to hear the words slip from my mouth.

I love you echoes off the walls trying so hard to find someone to sink it into their heart.

To treasure those three words for a lifetime.

Daily Prompt: Misplaced

The Daily Post: Daily prompt: Misplaced

Your gone where did I place you

The thing that means so much to me.

Are you under the couch or maybe your on

The table with all the other important things.

Maybe I’ll never  find you because after awhile

It’s getting tiring looking for you and maybe

When I stop you will find your way to me instead.
