Words

come and go from my brain and each day I wonder will I ever run out of things to say.

Some days it’s nice to just not say any words at all.

Just listening and watching others sing or talk gives me some peace of mind .

It’s like talking all the time just feels up the space where silence is but, sometimes it just nice to be in the silence.

To not feel pressured to say something more just to make sure the other person doesn’t feel ignored.

Yet, It’s nice to hear what others have to say and just sit back and not have to join in the conversion for you have things to do and talking sometimes takes your focus off the task ahead.

So words please come and go for I know when you come it will be good and when you go that gives me time to work things out so when you come back what I say will be so much more intense and interesting to hear and read.

The silence

falls on her life and the noises that light up her life

were nowhere to be found.

Her once colorful life was now nothing but dark grays and black

everything she saw now just seemed so lifeless and hopeless and a dead-end.

Nothing was going to break through the cracks of this new darkness and she didn’t want it to either.

She simply just gave up for the fight had been too much for her and now it was time to just let go and let the storm carry through it out and wherever she may land would be where she was meant to be.

The hope and light that used to be inside her just was gone on and in this life there just didn’t seem like it was possible for her get it back anytime soon.

Days turn into weeks and nothing seemed to be improving for her and those who tried to help lift her up were slightly giving up hope and were about to just accept this was who she had become and they just needed to accept it and love her even more now.

Daily Prompt:Silence

The silence between us is deafening

not even a pen dropping or door shutting

can make words come out our mouth.

And I can’t help but wonder where all the words went.
