It was unknown to everyone around her the truth that was hidden inside her.

The battle she faced everyday just to seem somewhat normal.

The task ahead of her seemed so much harder because of how tired she was but she wouldn’t let them see her stumble.

He knew he had to be gentle with her or he would lose her.

she was like a flower when she felt shy or overwhelmed she would be closed off.

And when she felt relaxed and happy, she would bloom and it would be such a wonderful sight to see.

Her smile alone had his heart beating fast it would take more than a couple of deep breaths to calm his nerves.

He decided one day that he would risk it all just for her to smile for him.

And so he took small steps here and there and she wa slowly coming around to him.

And with one simple tender kiss he won her over for a lifetime of happiness.

He was the perfect balance for her to finally break out her shell.

Dreams

are all my body and mind crave for as my body hits my bed.

My mind wants to experience something new every night.

To let everything that happened to me earlier in the day to fade away.

To gain a little of my sanity back and for my mind to relax for once in my life.

For my body to relax and let all the stress of today wash away.

As my eyes slowly close and I’m drawn to the things that make me feel careless.

Soon my eyes will open and I have to face the day ahead of me and, I’m glad that everyday I don’t have to do it alone.

It was Friday and she couldn’t wait to see her grandkids again.

It had been so long, too long if she really thought about it.

And she wanted to give them something that they would remember her of.

So she found out everything they liked to do and eat and decided to bake for them.

And go out and buy them some games to play and she wanted to give them a gift card with a copy of crisp dollar bills in them.

As she walked home from her little community store.

she couldn’t stop smiling for she knew this weekend would be a time of joy for her and her grandkids.

last days have made me realize that

it’s now or never.

I have to make these steps for everything

to work out the right way not just for me but, for you too.

The day will be long and when it’s over I will not be the only one

tired and feeling like the weight of everything has fallen from shoulders.

There will be a lot of words exchanged between us but once it’s all said and down

we will both be in a happier place.

To the hope that tomorrow will turn out just the way we wanted and needed it too for it

has been stressful lately.

He was too young to think much about that day

when he won his first medal that day.

He didn’t think about how many more he

would win over the years and how fun would

turn into being such a competitive person.

He sat in his room on a lazy Saturday day shining

his medals until they were all polished up and he could see

his reflection.

He knew now how proud his parents were that he was on a good

path and staying out of trouble these past years.

And, so he would be leaving for college and all his medals will be left alone

in his childhood bedroom until he sees them again.

He won’t be that little boy anymore and hopefully he will still be on the same

path as before just more mature.

Treasure

I treasure this moment as the clock

ticks on and my time becomes limited.

You smile and I smile

the photos hold the truth to this moment we share.

Even when so much is going on and I can’t possible think

of anything go so smoothly.

I think about you and that moment

and the butterflies take flight inside of me

and nothing seems too much to handle anymore.

I walk with so much confident and joy know things will

work out in the end.

I put on my uniform everyday and paste on my smile

as everyone walks in and out those doors.

I enjoy most of the moments of my day but even I slowly

get tired and want to leave through those doors.

But, when the day ends and I walk away I think about all the people

who walked away happy and those who problems seemed to be solved.

I look forward to being nice and to being there for them even if it’s only in

a little way.

When did you become so unapproachable and Is it the reason our friendship is being  ripped  apart or

was it the lack of energy we choose not to put into

this situation.

Sometimes life becomes too busy to focus on the things that we want to

and when we do find the time to make it work it feels like we’ve are run out of

time.

Or things have changed too much for it to truly play out the way we wanted it too and so in the end things just don’t work out.

Too much time as passed for the connection to be as strong as it used to be and now we have to live with what is left of our bond.

And hope next time we don’t let the distance grow between us or this may be the last time we talk and share the things we love to share.
