Daily Prompt: Trace

He was in a daze after witnessing the grown man acting up in the store.

He couldn’t see why the man was being so ugly and cruel towards him but he didn’t let his bad mood ruin his day.

He kept moving forward and but when he would slow down and let himself think about it, he just kept shaking his head because he just couldn’t believe it.

And later on once home from work he just sat in a daze trying to figure it all out but could not see a clear way that he made a mistake to bring on the cruel mood of that man.

They play together everyday so dedicated to the art of their music

people who are locals come back sometime to listen to their old and new songs

the music is so peaceful and wonderful to your ears.

The lyric’s are so relatable and real, they always bring tears to those that are going through or been through those pains or joy’s in their lives.

They play for their love of music but sometimes a little money goes a long way for them.

They enjoy seeing the different emotions on their attendances faces.

Daily Prompt: Recite

She stood there in front of the class ready to recite a poem she wrote.

One that was her favorite and she hoped they enjoyed it.

She took a deep breath and stated to read the poem out loud.

she could feel her voice shaking but she continued on.

And once she finished everyone clapped and the teacher asked her some questions then she sat down.

she finally let out a breath as the next person got up and talked about their self.

The pizza is what everyone comes for but everyone always stay even after the pizza is gone and the movie is over.
Just sit together and talk about all the things that happen during the week and catch up before they all enjoy a long weekend apart or together.

Daily Prompt: Solitary

Living a life of solitary would seem so sad

But, sometimes we just need to be alone

away from the things that seem to be too much to handle at the time.

A time to finally enjoy the things we have been waiting to have time to do

as you  get lost in story after story, only to come up for food and bathroom breaks.

You smile because it’s been so long since you got to finish a book in a day or two.

You feel so free as you take long walks with no rush or hurry to get back to anything.

Your days seem long but enjoyable for once and you take your time to get everything done.

You run for the door after a long day at work and look forward to the long weekend ahead.

For you have so much to do on your own and you look forward to the peace and the quiet that will surely follow.

Daily Prompt:Unfurl

She let her hair unfurl into the wind as she took a nice walk outside

it had been a long day.

And it was just time to let her hair down and let the stress  finally just melt away

For she knew if today was bad than tomorrow would be even worst.

And she needed to be ready herself for a battle that was unseen and possibly would end bad but she was hoping it would all work out in the end.

As she looked down at all the grainy old photos of her grandmother.

She wished to capture the moment again for you could see so much emotions behind her grandma’s eyes.

And she has yet to take a photo so powerful and meaningful at the same time.

She wish she had the camera which that captured this moment that made her fall on love with photography all over again.

my body is getting so weak and it’s telling me now to help it grow so strong.

Or one day I won’t be able to get back up as fast as I do now

Oh how I hate the aches and just want to get in shape.

I’m far from being young but not close to being too old

So many before me warn me to do better, to be better for the time is moving so fast and you never know when your time is up.

Maybe you will last a long time and maybe you just make it long enough to outlast everyone around you.

And you will be so sad for you surly do miss them and just want to celebrate with them all even if it’s just one more time.

You will take your time and cherish every second, minute, hour, and week and so much more until it’s all over for you too.

Looking on the bright side

Advertisements

So many things just seem to be going in the wrong direction

and I could just accept that things are not going my way.

Or I could look on the bright side and hope that things will start looking up

for what’s the point in staying in the past for there are  things I have no control over.

Sometimes the good days are good and the bad days turn into a lesson I needed to learn

in order to know how the fix the things in my life I didn’t know how to fix in the first place.

The bright side of things for me is I’m still here and even though sometimes my days are long, I find my way back to the light every day and  that I am grateful for.

She didn’t like to do things without some type of directions

but she sat behind the wheel of her car.

She realized she left the directions at home and her phone was no help at this point.

So she just kept driving until she saw some familiar places and soon she arrived at a big house with blue windows and a huge glorious garden that was on the left side of the house.

Cars lined up on the one side of the lane, as she drove up the hill and found a spot close but not to close to the car next you her.

She was greeted by the security in front of the house and asked for her name and I.D. and then was let in to the most beautiful entry way she ever seen.

The 20 feet ceiling with crystal chandelier hanging was her main focus as she walked through the door.

She loved the cherry wood and paintings on the wall but she begun to feel nervous as she got closer to the dinning and kitchen where she knew everyone was hanging around .

She didn’t want to seem like a random person just coming  into their circle of friends even though she knew a couple of them since childhood.

She felt things this time seem a lot worse than before.
