Daily Prompt: Treat

Advertisements

Oh how it would be such a treat just to get away and not have to be so stressed these days.

The joy of being able to just sit down and enjoy a treat and not worry about the time or the calories.

To just simply enjoy whatever craving that is so strong that you can’t ignore it anymore.

Just for a little time can I smile because this treat is all mine even if it just for a couple of minutes.

I’m looking for this treat even if it has to wait a couple more days for me to truly enjoy it.

Denial

Advertisements

I could deny that I don’t feel like there was so much more that I needed to say before you closed your eyes and let everything go.

I could have told you the truth and maybe then we both wouldn’t be standing on two different tracks but standing together.

Maybe I wouldn’t be so sad and you wouldn’t be so mad and confused and all the answers we both needed to hear wouldn’t still be mystery to us now.

Maybe your smile would be shining so bright right now instead all I see is a frown on your face.

And maybe seeing you know surround by the people who always have your back would make me happy because, I could just walk over and join you and spend the night laughing so hard that tears comes to my eyes.

You held so much apart of my life that now it just feels like a puzzle that will always be missing the pieces that make it come together.

If only I had the courage to tell you the truth and bring us back together and be as close as we used to be.

Three Line Tales, Week 100

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Time to explore and enjoy the many things we could get into today and as  we walk around.

Talking non-stop about what’s been going on in each others life, we see the two officers walking around making sure the area is safe this time of year.

You are grateful that someone is trying to protect you and everyone that lives in this town with you, you are happy that being safe today is one less than you have to worry about right now.

Daily Prompt: Reservation

It was the second day of the new year and she wanted things to go off to a great start, so you booked you both a massage and mud baths.

And as we relaxed together that day, I just kept thinking about the dinner at the nice restaurant  by the water.

How your eyes will sparkle with the reflection of the water playing on in the background.

You will be so excited to spend so of the night just holding hands as we walk down the deck to the boat that will take us out to sea.

The ocean and you have always be connected and you can’t wait to jump back in to that cool water and get lost from all the things going on in your life.

Taking a risk with me

100 Word Wednesday: Week 51

Roll the dice and see where it will land and maybe then your life will finally take the turn you always needed it too.

Don’t give up when things don’t go your way, keep fighting and hoping that something new will happen and change everything and maybe just maybe you will love life again.

Roll the dice and take a chance with me and everyone else who hasn’t given up even when the results aren’t looking good for us either.

Daily Prompt: Conversation

Conversations are something that  reconnects someone with a friend or connects you to a stranger if just for a couple of minutes.

Sometimes conversations are very rare with life being so busy that all you do is wake up and eat and work and repeat until you finally have a day or two off.

You don’t realize it’s been awhile since you’ve had a good conversion since you’ve been in robot mode and everything you’ve said is like a script that is on repeat for six days out the week or five.

You don’t realize what you’ve been missing until you’ve had a great conversion with someone you have missed so much.

And the minutes turn into hours and the happiness and laughter is all around and, you wonder why you took so long to reconnect.

Happy New Year!

Advertisements

I hope everyone had a great new year eve and now a great start to this new year.

May many blessings come your way this year and you live your life for you and not what others think you should.

Don’t be afraid to break out of your box and try new things life is too short to live it on repeat.

Lets all take a risk and live this new year for a brand new start and don’t think about the bad luck or things that happened in the past.

For you are in the present and this moment is for you to decide what you want to do next.

Daily Prompt: Finally

Advertisements

The new year is here and as I waited for the ball to drop

I could only hope that everything that comes of this year will be amazing.

Time to take more risk and keep going strong in what I believe and not give up when the times get tough.

Finally a new start and put everything from last year in the past and moving on and on to better things.

Only time will tell what this year will bring and I’m excited and nervous to see what will come my way.
