Life

How many cries for help do we miss and if someone even says cries for help do we wonder if their hinting at something.

How many people do we have to say we know to realize none of them are around when you’re at your lowest moment.

Are they knocking down walls to get to you or even giving you a call when you attempt to reach out to them.

Or are you the one months from now they wonder about.

How many will still be waiting a month from now?

Will it be too late?

Will the words ever register that there was a warning or will the signs continue to go unnoticed.

And how do we see these signs before it’s too late, some are known and some come out of no where.

But is there hope you will notice soon enough or do we get to busy to worry about others for a length of time.

Daily Prompt:Maybe

Maybe I’ll end up living out my dream

or maybe I’ll end up doing much more.

There are so many things I could maybe want to do or maybe not want to do.

Like maybe today it will rain or maybe it will rain tomorrow.

Maybe I will smile a lot today or maybe I will smile only a little bit.

Maybe my words will float right off this scene and float around you all day long.

Or maybe the sun will Shine brightly down on you and the breeze will come and it will stay cool.

Maybe your laugh will make me smile as you act so silly today.

Maybe today will explode with nothing but joy and everyone will be full of maybe the best happiness they could ever feel.

Maybe you will like this and maybe you won’t but that maybe won’t make me smile less but, maybe make me wrote more and better.

So maybe one day you like one of my pieces!

Reckless

Advertisements

I want to be reckless and get lost in you

to feel my hair in the wind.

I want to stand in the rain with you and focus on nothing but you as the rain washing over us.

To have the moments when time doesn’t matter or exist because were together.

To wake up in the morning  knowing it was not just a dream but, this is how my life will be for a life time.

For I’m yours and your mine and together we will always have our reckless, silly moments together.

Daily Prompt: Joke

A joke can be funny or fall rather flat

It could be nice or it could get rather nasty.

You could make people laugh or cause an uprise.

Jokes are something everyone wants to be good at that’s why we have so many comedians.

Jokes can be told between friends and be so funny that you just can’t stop laughing long enough to share it with others.

Jokes are something worth sharing as long as you share them in the right way.

Jokes bring  great laughter when told by a great entertainer.

Jokes are the quickest way to a life full of laughter and Joy.

Daily Prompt: Luxury

Advertisements

We all have the luxury of having friends but once we have it, do we cherish it?

As the time goes on do we realize that once the luxury is gained do we think about it again.

Or is the chase the only reason we want the luxury in the first place.

If we stop and truly think about how this luxury will in long run help or hurt our life, would we still want it?

Daily Prompt: Paint

Advertisements

The paint flows freely on my paper as the image inside my head begins to form on my paper.

A piece of art is formed and nothing worth calling a masterpiece.

But, even if I’m no good I won’t give it up for it brings me so much peace in that moment.

As If I’m laying down my soul as I paint and when I’m done I feel so free and the troubles or worries of life are gone for a little while.

Lights out!

Advertisements

I can feel the lights going off inside of me as the darkness starts to crawl in.

And I shut down for the care is gone and in its place is a girl no one knows.

There’s no joy in her eyes or her smile and if you stare hard enough you will see the emptiness in her eyes.

The girl I used to be is locked up in cell wishing she could come out but the world has shut her down and so she gave up the fight of wanting the joy in life.

She floats around the shell of the person she used to be.
The helpful, joyful, caring person gone in seconds and trapped for a lifetime.

Daily Prompt: Stubborn

Advertisements

Your determined to do it your way and not listen to what I have to say.

You’re as stubborn as a rock, no words are needed as you stare into my eyes and give me that look.

And I know there is no talking you down from the decisions you made or going to make.

You don’t think the situation you lead yourself into will affect you as time goes on.

Those eyes will only get you so far until it’s   Too late for a stare down for my eyes are already close.

Daily Prompt: Praise

Advertisements

Praise the word only brought one man to my mind my lord.

To praise him is to wake up everyday and breathe another breath of fresh air.

To be thankful that he got me through the day and I learned something new or he blessed me with something I didn’t even know I needed.

To praise him is the best thing I have ever done.

To write the words I write everyday and night is because of him.

He sparked my talent to write and my love to write and I couldn’t be more thankful.

He knows my heart and who I truly am and understands me when no one else does and that’s the reason I praise and love him.

For he loves me and yet I didn’t know him at first and to praise him now feels like a long-lost friend who was and is always around.

Today is a good day to praise him and for that I am blessed.

Daily Prompt: Craving

So much to crave it’s so hard sometimes to choose the right thing for my sweet tooth.

But there are so many cravings I need like new music and new books.

It’s an endless journey to finding the right thing to enjoy for a day or a week.

Daily Prompt: Muse

My muse you help me find the words when my brain seems to be rebelling against me.

And all my pages were empty until you came along and saved me from writers block.

You are my support team when sometimes I’m just feed up with writing and you push me to continue to write.

Writing has been a joy and because of you I’ve had such a fun time writing this year and look forward to continue to write more.

Daily Prompt: Profound

She was a clever girl

wise for her age

always seeking knowledge every chance she could get.

She would run head first towards challenges in life for she loved accomplishing everything for, anything was possible with her.

Her cleverness was so profound no one expected such sneaky ways for how she always ended up in first place.

In the end no one ever knew how truly talented she was for list of skills were always too long to read or remember.

But her smile was quite amazing and would always be remembered in the end.

Daily Prompt: Apology

I want to say I’m sorry for the words

I said were wrong.

I hope you can forgive me and we can move on from this.

But, sometimes sorry isn’t necessary, but we say it anyways for deep down we feel bad.

That we didn’t text or call you back for life has us so busy.

But I’m sorry and I truly meant it.
