Why is it that every time we go on vacation that I’m planning everything and trying make the trip fun.

And while I’m doing all the work what are you doing?

Taking selfies and not new and unique ones just the same old pose as every pic I see on your Facebook .

For once I just wish you would take the time to enjoy everything that is going on around you and just put your phone down and live a little.

For sometimes these moments only happen once in a life time.

Like the rat trying to drink some left over Starbucks drink, I’m just trying to survive and not keep struggling with the same things going on in my life.

I’m just looking for an option that will set me free from the things that I’ve been running from lately.

I am standing on top of all the things that didn’t work out and all the people who tried to tear me down, and I am finally free from the stress and the struggle that has been in my way.

It’s been so long since we’ve sat down and had a meal together, I made your favorite and I hope you appreciate this time we have together.

I know this moment may not last for long but, I hope it will help bring us closer for it seem like its been so long since we’ve talked more than five to ten minutes.

The look  on your face was priceless and the hug and smile was worth all the energy and time it took to make a good meal for you just for this day if that’s all the time we have for now.

Take me away on a trip that will be long and lets take as many photo’s as possible so that every moment will be captured even if it’s just for our eyes only.

I’ll pack a couple of sweaters and boots for the weather and changing and winter is coming and even though I want to get away from the snow that is coming.

I’d go through any type of storm as long as you are by my side the whole time I know we will survive it all.

Bright lights shine append my first and I stand strong and tall as the show goes on and I’m so glad I got my shades on for it would have been blinding with all the different lights coming on and all as the show goes on.

I see others trying their best to not look directly into the lights as you watch the greatest moment unfold around you. As the fog begins to roll back to the back row.

You finally see everything so clearly and you start to record everything because you don’t want to forget this moment for years from now your life may not be as adventures as it is now in this moment.

Follow me down this road that can only lead us to a better place, the light shines so brightly.

The fog hides all the things that used to make you scarred and all the evils out there that try to stop you at every step of the way.

You have so much more to fight for so move quick because soon the sun will go down and the darkness will come out and try to take you away from me again.

I would do anything for you, like make you breakfast on your days off

or do your errands for you so you can just relax a little bit longer.

I know you work so hard so that life could be so much easier for us and for that I would do any little thing just so you feel appreciated when you start to think why am I working so hard.

I’d do anything just to see that handsome smile on your face, to hear your laugh and be wrapped in your arms.

Here we go onto the escalator as we head in the direction of our destination

to be free and get time off without stressing over work and anything else.

To finally get to enjoy the breeze and fresh air outside and not just the cold A.C. inside your job.

To be around different people and not feel like you can’t be yourself and just enjoy the time you have to yourself.

The days you got off will be spent enjoying the life that you need a break from and to not have someone question you about anything just felt so nice and relaxing for the feeling of not being overwhelmed is the best feeling in your world right now.

I see you and everything that you are going through

my hand is reaching out to help you.

I know everyone seems to be far away from caring about you but, our hearts and hands are closer than you know.

If only you would stop for a moment and look around and notice that not only was I always there for you.

I always gave you the space you needed, so that when you were ready I’d step back in and save you from anything.

My last breath would be for you and anything else you needed I’d make sure you had for no sacrifice I could make for you would be too much or too great.

October is almost here the month of Halloween

the one time of year everyone wants to dress up.

And celebrate and create something spooky or cool

so here I am creating this cool skeleton jelly.

I didn’t think it would turn out so great and even better it taste just so good

that everyone wanted more and depended I make it at my annual Halloween party this year.

We stand here to protect and serve, and sometimes our job is hard

Because some people don’t want to listen to us or some of us don’t do the right thing.

But, we here still trying our best to protect you and make sure nothing bad happens for that’s what we signed up for.

We could have choose anything as our career but we fell in love with what this job has to offer not just for us but for our family and friends.

We don’t just protect the one’s we love but, the ones that need protection more than they think they do.

The one’s that feel all alone and have no one to count on at the end of the day.

Come take a ride with me on this quite day

Lets forget about all the things that are getting in our way.

Let’s enjoy the things that are right now and not the things

we can’t predict.

Let’s take our time to make things right and hope that the faith we have will hold strong

for us as we go down this path together as friends, as lovers, as two people who not only want the best for each other but other people as well.

We hope for a good future and know that it is coming for us soon and that no matter what we will get through it with something we’ve learned from it and maybe something we regret as well.

As my fingers pluck the right strings on my favorite guitar and I begin to play and sing for the crowd.

I know that I’m in the right place at the right time and this show is going to be another great night for me.

As I get into the show and I become even more worked up by the energy the crowd is giving me as they sing along to my songs.

I have flashbacks to the moments when the crowd was so small and most of my guest were family and friends and a couple of drunks dancing along in the background.

I know now with a crowd going all way around the corner and that way before the show starts, I just can’t imagine what it looks like when it gets closer to when the doors open.

But, I love what I do and I won’t trade it in for anything in the world.

Capturing all the moments spent with my friends these last couple of days  has me thinking about how much I’ve missed from their lives.

Because I was trying so hard to keep my own life together and now that I’m with them I can’t imangine what my life would be like now if I hadn’t reached out a couple of months ago and planned this trip for us to take.

Would we have talked anytime sooner or would I continue to live my life regreting that I had pushed them all away for I just needed a moment to be worthy of them again.
