Apple pie reminds me of those good old days when I would be in the kitchen with my mother making pie from scratch.

Those memories are so dear to me as I wish I could go back to those days when I had more time on my hand and life seemed so much more calmer.

No stress or worries insight as we would stand together in the kitchen and make pies to enjoy together later on as dessert.

On top of one of the tallest building and for the first time I feel like the things that seem so big in my life aren’t that big at all.

Nothing is going to pull me down anymore for I have been to the top and no matter how far I fall nothing can truly bring me down again.

I am where I’m suppose to be when it comes to my growth personally and now physically I feel so tore down that I just can’t get up and do the things I used to do.

I said I wouldn’t leave you this time as I head off on my next adventure and so here we are with you in my bag.

And a long walk ahead of us to a place that will hopefully be fun for the both of us, no worries I will look out for you as you will look out for me.

Together we are comfortable and happy and I know as long as I have you to cuddle with and find new things to discover there will be nothing but good times when were together in the end.

Love

Oh how I love thou not just on this day called Valentine’s day but, everyday that I’ve known thou.

The way thou smiles at me everyday lights up my heart and warms me on cold days, thou words are always so sweet and kind to me.

I love to love thou because at the end of the day I know where we stand and there is no moment that I doubt thou love for me.

Just me

100 Word Wednesday: Week 57

I stand here alone just reflecting on all the moves I made today and how far I have become with my talent.

I am happy in this place that makes me feel so elegant and relax as the sun shines down on me, I wonder about what life would be life if I hadn’t followed my dream?

And I didn’t  do what I love to do everyday, what would I have become?, I guess at the end of the day I will never know for everyday is a dream come true to me.

Rain

100 Word Wednesday: Week 56

Rain you wash away the sorrows of my day, I feel the weight lifted off of me as I walk down the street with no care in the world

Everything so wet and puddles are all around that stepping around them is being hard but, like life there is always a way around them.

But, today I have nowhere to go and I have time to splash in some puddles and just let everything else fade away as I enjoy my time in the rain with my head back and rain dripping down my face.

Let go

Let go and find yourself as you feel the warm water on your feet and then your legs and as you dive into the water and you feel at peace again.

Let the stress of your day or week fade away and center yourself again so that when the stress gets the best of you again you can and will handle it.

Don’t let anyone bring you down when you know you are meant to be something great and better than what everyone else thinks of you, for you know who your suppose to be in the end.

The city

The city life is so busy and yet there is some people who don’t let that bring them down and they choose to slow down and enjoy the little things.

You don’t have to live in a big city to feel the busy life and get lost in things that you may later regret.

Sometimes the little town life is kind of peaceful but, the options to do so many things is something you could look forward to when you have some time off.

I stand alone

I stand alone watching over the lake that held so many memories for me, one of my favorite memories is when my father took me out on his boat for the first time.

To teach me how to fish and how no matter how many times I messed up, he told me to keep trying and I will catch something eventually.

We were out there on that boat for most of the afternoon and right as we were getting ready to pack up and call it a day I caught my first fish and even though he was kind of small and we threw him back in the end.

I’ll truly never forget that day with my dad or how that lake played a big part in my life.

The Thrill

100 Word Wednesday: Week 52

Oh, how I would love to travel and not be stuck in this place for the rest of my life, a place that is less traveled.

I want to go back to the place where adventure was at every corner and the excitement was continuously growing.

The drive to do more with one’s life was something that everyone was craving and the dreams were coming true, there was barely a moment where someone would doubt that the result wouldn’t be good.

The thrill to go on the next trip was so strong.

Taking a risk with me

Roll the dice and see where it will land and maybe then your life will finally take the turn you always needed it too.

Don’t give up when things don’t go your way, keep fighting and hoping that something new will happen and change everything and maybe just maybe you will love life again.

Roll the dice and take a chance with me and everyone else who hasn’t given up even when the results aren’t looking good for us either.

Holiday drinks

100 Word Wednesday: Week 50

Christmas is just around the corner and I know that were all going to be together and it would be fun to try some new drinks together.

So let me gather up all the cranberries I can find and some pears and anything that would make a great drink.

And try a couple of recipes out  to just make sure they taste great for I want them to enjoy these drinks and for this holiday to be one that they remember for a very long time.

Christmas Vacation here I come!

100 Word Wednesday: Week 49

I never thought this day would come as I packed my bags and headed to the airport to catch my flight home for the holidays.

I knew that after a long week at work that I would need this trip so bad and this drink definitely was the icing on the cake.

By the time I get there I will be so relaxed and ready to have a good time and just be around people who make me feel at home even if it’s just for a couple of days.

A moment to remember

100 Word Wednesday: Week 48

Walking this path today was great  the sun was out and cool breeze was blowing around me and it felt just great to be out and about.
The birds were out and chirping to such a beautiful sound this morning, at first I walked around just enjoying the place I always loved to spend time in.
I started to take pictures and keep the memory of such a wonderful day out because, soon the weather would change and the snow will arrive and this moment will be gone.
