To tell

Advertisements

you the truth, I want to reach out to you but every time I start to write something to you

something stops me and I quickly let you slip away from my mind.

And maybe it’s for the best but, lately you have been on my mind and I just want to say hi and maybe soothing else.

But, maybe it’s best that I stay away for right now my emotions are all over the place and I don’t want to say something I know I shouldn’t but I want to say it so bad.

If only I didn’t know how this would end and I could just let the words flow from me and not care where they fall and just accept the outcome.

It’s tearing me apart to not say the words but, at the same time I feel like if I make a move it will be the wrong thing and the outcome won’t be good.

Right now I need to do what’s best for me and try real hard to let it go and let the words slip away from my mind and move forward knowing that I made the right move.

As you told your story everything just hit home and I could relate to it all and as you said your last word.

I just had to let you know that I too had been there and it does get better if you just keep strong and don’t let the things that keep falling out you get you down.

You will be blessed and things will workout in the end and don’t give up when it just seems too impossible for something good to happen to you, after all the things that happened to you were bad.

This year isn’t over yet and there is just enough time for your luck to turn around and be good as you end this year on a good note and next year begins and your finally where you want to be.

Smile and laugh for it always makes things better and it time for you to turn that frown upside down and make it right side up and don’t worry about what others things because at the end of your day you are the one who lives with you.

Open your eyes and love you for you and even if the list of things you have done this year is small just be grateful that you are still around to do them.

I believed in you even when you didn’t want to hear what I had to say, at the end of the day I knew when you truly pushed everyone away my words will have stayed with you.

Sometimes our theories of stuff don’t come true or turn out the way we thought it would.

And, sometimes being the person to admit that we were wrong just doesn’t happen and do we feel quilt about it maybe not.

But, I wish you would just start with the truth and move on to what has to be done for right now the situation isn’t getting any better.

And, the way you are acting is making somethings be more likely to not take the time to test it out and make sure the problem whether big or small you will get through it.

Daily Prompt: Relocate

Sometimes we want to relocate our problems so that we don’t have to face them at the time.

Like when someone is being nasty and you just wish they would take their negative energy and go somewhere that was no where near you.

You want them to just relocate to someplace that will allow them to let out their anger and you don’t care where that place would be but they just need to leave you alone.

Or if they like you don’t mind relocating to a place away from them because you really don’t mind getting away and moving on.

Bite size food is for little kids but sometimes as an adult you just want to enjoy something small for a change.

To bite into something you been craving feels like heaven when it melts on your tongue

To bite someone when you’re a baby is just you trying to relieve the pain of teething and not just for people but for dogs too.

Until you learn or they learn it’s not nice to bite the one’s you love.

I’m sorry

Advertisements

that I wasn’t worthy of your time

and that even though I was always around I wasn’t counted as someone who was there for you during the tough times in your life.

I wonder now why I felt like I let you down when I was there fighting to keep you safe even when you didn’t think you deserved to be saved.

You were apart of my growth as I found myself and in the end you just didn’t seem to care about all that we had done together to make it out of the darkness of our lives.

I helped keep you up when you couldn’t walk and go through the light for you knew all that you had done was not hidden away but out front where everyone could see.

I stood there handing your hand and comforting you so that there was not a moment that you felt alone and heart-broken.

Your pain was my pain and now it’s like, I was invisible the whole time and every moment that I experienced was not true as you removed me from your life.

You said I was  there but what I did was not enough and the one’s that were around only on your good days were the ones you choose over me and the day I walked away.

I felt so bad for you for when you expected them to be there for you and the one’s that would try for a while will eventually leave too and when you realize  I’m gone.

I won’t come back even if you beg for my forgiveness, for I will forgive but I will move on for I feel like once you’ve burned me the possibility of you ever been trusted again is just out of the question.

For I will always  know what you did and that in the end tells me it’s time to just let you go for good.

Daily Prompt: Dubious

Everything now just feels so uncertain and the direction I need to go in just can’t be found right now.

I’m wondering through life right now with no way of knowing if I’m doing it alright when the feelings inside of me are all jumbled up inside.

I try each day to try to sort through the things that are unclear to me but it seems like each step gets me no where.

I’m almost at the point of just giving up and just living with the knots and loops that have formed in my life.

And just accept this uncertain in my life and just work around it and hope that it may just work out on its own in time.

The voices of the people I thought would stay in my life

for a long time became faint as I walk away that day.

I didn’t remember what they said to me but my heart still feels a little empty

from the piece of me they took that night.

They didn’t even see me walk away or even cared if I had showed up

but the words they said just hit me so hard I felt pieces of my heart fall away and the pain was so much I almost fainted.

But, some how I got the strength to turn around and walk out that door and go to a place that ended up saving me from not recover from that pain.

There had always been someone there for me that didn’t like the other people I hung out with but respected that I like them but, always warned me that one day things would come clear to me.

And the first thing you did that night wasn’t tell me you told me so but, that you would do anything to take this pain away and that trying to get revenge wasn’t worth it for karma always comes back around.

My heart is fully healed now and you are still by my side not only protecting me but the family we built together and maybe one day our kids will have a friend who stands up for them like you did for me that day.

that haunts me from my past

and no matter how far I go.

Every Halloween you come out and  shake up my life again

like a nightmare that replays over and over every night.

I’m ready for you to go away as I count down the minutes and hours until this day is over and I am free again.

Daily Prompt: Risky

I enjoy risk and what comes with them the feeling of your heart beating so fast

that you can hear it in your ears.

The adrenaline pumping through my body as the thrill of doing something that could be risky and end up bad.

Doesn’t stop me from jumping over that fence and running through that lawn.

Taking the picture of that statue even though the sign ahead clearly says not too.

Or having your flash on even though the sign clearly states no flash allowed.

Or sneaky in snacks and drinks into places that only want you to buy their stuff.

I’ll take the risk anytime and deal with the aftermath later on.

So many things she wanted to change

just so that she could fit in.

No one told her, she had to be that way

but she felt that the pressure of feeling left out and she didn’t want to be alone anymore.

And so she broke herself to just be someone she couldn’t possibly ever be and in all the things she did.

What she became in the end was broken and lost and even though she was surrounded by all these new people.

The light that used to shine so bright through her now has dimmed out to the point she just a shell of a girl she used to be.

Empty and closed off she stood by the fire, wishing she could feel that light again.

I want to say I’m interested in you

but who are you and where are you.

The days that could be spent with you are spent being lost in books

Being busy at work doing the things I slightly like half the time.

If only the things I wrote about were true when it came to you and who you were to

get lost in your eyes and your arms and your laugh.

You would interest me by just being you and there wouldn’t be a moment that you haven’t  spent just doing the things you love.

Daily Prompt: Focused

Sometimes we’re so focused on what we want that we don’t see the needs of others.

Or we are so focused on how nasty that person was to me earlier that we don’t see the kindness the person in front of us is showing us right now.

We are so focused on the now and if it’s going bad that later on there is no hope of something good coming our way.

So focused on what I have done and not on what I still have left to do.

So focused on saying or writing the right then that we start to think nothing is good enough unless we get a lot of praise on it or about it.

I want to be focused on everything that is going on around me but, some days it’s just too much.

So I choose to focused on one thing at a time and eventually I get to it all.

And, I’ll know I didn’t miss a detail or important moment because I was too focus on too many things.

That the really good things in life just past me by.

She was so uncertain of the decision she had made.

And there was no time to turn around and walk away.

She had to get on that stage and say what was on her mind and what was in her heart.

As she spoke the uncertain faded away as everything spilled out.

And when it was time for her to get off stage every person seemed to have tears in their eyes.

As they stood up and clapped for her and afterwards all she heard was praises.

She decided that day she wouldn’t be uncertain anymore about that things she felt so much about.

For, they were the things she was meant to do and be good at.

Can you feel

Advertisements

the feeling of the music pouring all over me and my once tired body

is moving and awake like it hasn’t been interrupted the last couple of days

from the noise of rude neighbors.

Can you feel the world just being so much brighter now than before when all you wanted to do was lay in bed and fall back to sleep and not care if you wasted the whole day away.

You tried so hard to block out the noise and at last it worked but the hours that you had missed out on really took a toll on your body.

But, as the day goes on you have so much more energy than you had before and you feel like you can do so much.

You can feel your life taking back control of the things that are bothering you and you start to do the things you used to do again.

You feel alive and refreshed and hopeful as the music beats to everything going on in your life or things that don’t but you believe and trust it will all workout.

So for a little while you forget all the things that have been bugging you for so long, and you feel lighter when the song is over and the next one is just as strong.

You walk away with a smile on your face and all the things that had pissed you off now don’t seem that big of a deal.
