My imagination drives me to a place that is more at peace than the reality life I live in each day.

I just wish for one moment that time would stop and I can enjoy things around me and when I’ve had my fill then time can speed up again.

I just want to imagine all the things that make this world beautiful be surrounding me in this moment that changes everything for me.

Maybe one day it will come true but, for now reality is where I am and some times I close my eyes and I see the world for what it truly is and my heart and mind are at peace again.

Save me from the flames!

What do you do when you’re engulfed by flames?

Do you drop, dunk and roll?

Or do you decide you’ve lived long enough, and end up burning up and becoming a pile of ashes?

Or maybe the flames aren’t literal but all in your head.

For you messed up so bad that everything you touched was engulfed in flames.

And there was no going back for you messed up for good.

And as you cry, everything just disappears into thin air.

You than begin to worry if you will

always be so lonely and without all the things you loved.

You slowly start to change and don’t worry about how long it

may take  for the things you need are always around.

But no matter how many times you try to change the flames

soon surround you, and as you try to scream the flames begin to

engulf you.

And you’re gone and no one seems to have notice you’re not  acting like yourself anymore

and in the place of who you were is the flame.

It begins to burn every bridge you ever built and no one seems to care as you push them away.

And  you cry from the inside of the prison the flame left you in.

Maybe one day you will be able to fight away the flames that

engulfed the person you used to be and the people you used to care for.

What am I fighting

For as I stand still here  

and look at you on this cold morning

and I wonder if only I had walked away.

Would I be such a mess with so many thoughts

flying through my mind at lighten speed.

Nothing is clean and I can’t grasp one thought

for my brain is starting to hurt as I fall down

and try to find comfort in this all.

Too much to handle and so lay here and stare

at nothing ,and I wish if only I had stopped when

the one and only thought popped into my mind

that night.

That changed everything and now here

I am pouring it all out and you stand there frozen

in time with nothing to say, and what good does that do

for me.

So I try to scream loud enough for you to wake up from this

state.

But instead all I do is break you apart into tiny little pieces as

you explode right in front of me and every piece of you I loved

comes flying at me.

And then it all becomes too much and I combust

Into tiny pieces and I am no more, like you.

But, it’s all just a dream and soon I will wake from this

nightmare of my truth, my fears.

You look at me and you

Wonder what you will find in me.

As you begin to toss out  shirts and pants

And the pile of things begin to grow.

How dare you treat the things I grown to

Love that way, they’re my friends.

And I can’t do anything about it but sit here

And watch you finally find something to wear.

Then close my doors for I’m just a closet all alone

With nothing but the darkness to see my tears.

but the truth is flowing out of my mouth

as my fingers keep typing away.

Words flying from my mind like

fireworks going off in the sky.

The show will go on and there

is no stopping it.

Until the last word is typed out

I will be here with nothing but

the truth and imagination

surging through your mind.
