tell the truth I have no idea what is going on as I have no idea what door or path I will go on.

My mind is wondering as I try to focus on a way out.

Everyone wants me to run and find a better path in life so I don’t regret anything later down the road.

But, the truth is I’m not sure how to go down the path I’m on and have a real plan all laid out in such a short amount of time.

But, I won’t give up not until I’m out and smiling like them with so much less stress in their life.

Thoughts

Flying through your mind like the rain pouring down outside.

So many of them running through your mind when all you want is a moment of quiet and nothing to think about.

It looks like you will be spending your day inside.

You know there is a lot to do but, your body doesn’t want to move from the warmth of your bed.

The rain starts to get heavier as the morning beginning for you.

The thought of going outside just for a moment seems unpleasant to you.

Everything so gray as if your world has become a black and white movie.

In which you know not how it will end or how it will increase  in drama or romance or even if their will be some growth along the way.

The next moments are as new to you as the beginning of your life was as you open your eyes for the first time as a newborn baby.

sky turns dark and the rain continues to pour

I wonder what will become of this place as I sit inside with the lights on.

Hoping the rain will end soon because I just need some air and I want to be outside not stuck in a room looking outside a window at everything that is wet.

Puddles everywhere and not a dry spot in sight, I hope everyone is inside and not out and about.

My head is frozen from the cold air blowing around and all I want is to be near the heat in hope my head wouldn’t hurt so much or at all.

To think this day could have been different completely but, instead everything happens at it’s own pace.

October

you have arrived and you bring so cold air with you as fall finally comes around.

Yet, you still bring along your friend the rain who has rained too many times this summer that he isn’t really welcomed in October.

He wants to rain down and bring lots of grown in the grass and other things but right now he has over-stayed his welcome.

It’s time for the rain to take a  vacation and let the cold air be just enough for everyone to use a light jacket outside.

You welcome the cold and hope now you don’t get sick because well everyone is counting on you.

But, as fall comes and soon winter to follow you know that time is slowly running out and this year is soon to be over.

What will you bring October and will November follow with no rain and nothing but shine and just the right amount of cold and cheer too?

What am

I waiting for as I stand in the doorway and watch the storm pouring down outside.

I know that I need to get out there and do what needs be done.

But, the rain is pouring down so hard I just don’t know if I will make it make in one piece.

Is it worth getting wet over?

I know that this rain is not going anywhere and so I think I’ll just wait it out and hope for the best.

As I close the door and go back inside I realize that waiting is my best bet at this point as I see more rain than anything else outside.

This storm is here to stay and right now I just have to respect that it’s not going anywhere and waiting it out inside won’t hurt as I did want to have a nice quiet day inside.

Happy Mother’s day

Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying this day with their mother or you are a mother or soon to be mother.

I know that some of you mothers may no longer be here and today will be sad for you but, just keep the love she shared with you while she was here bright and strong in your hearts today.

I hope everyone has a blessed day and enjoy the little bit of relax you may receive today.

100 Word Wednesday: Week 56

Rain you wash away the sorrows of my day, I feel the weight lifted off of me as I walk down the street with no care in the world

Everything so wet and puddles are all around that stepping around them is being hard but, like life there is always a way around them.

But, today I have nowhere to go and I have time to splash in some puddles and just let everything else fade away as I enjoy my time in the rain with my head back and rain dripping down my face.

Daily Prompt: Gray

The gray sky moves in as the rain begins to fall down.

All is quite as no one is out and about in this rainy weather.

Everything is growing and eating up all the drips of rain as it lands on the grass.

All the hard work of cutting the grass and making it short again.

Will be short-lived as it rains for days to come and grass and trees soak up the bath they have being craving.

My companion right now is my dog as we sit

inside as the severe Thunderstorm does it work outside.

The rain is heavy as it beats on windows and slams on-screen doors,

begging to be let in.

It just wants to play and wash over everything you own and letting you

know material things can be replace but you can’t.

So be safe out there in this storm because it wants a companion too

and it’s best to just not let it have its way.

I’ll take my chances with the companion I have today safe and sound inside

my little home where the rain can’t hurt me as long as I have faith that my God will

keep his children safe and not to worry about the things I can’t control.

The Cycle

It all starts when three things go bad

And of course you never think about it.

Because the Butterfly effect may not have

Happened to you.

But it happened to her,  and it all started on a rainy day.

First the she went out in the rain and got wet getting into the car.

Secondly, after enjoying her time in the library, she walked out smiling up at the sky silently thanking it that the  rain had finally stopped.

Only to step right into a massive puddle, soaking both shoe’s completely.

Thirdly, she had to drive home barefooted and then step out, and walk on her wet driveway and the steps leading up to her house.

She strongly regrets coming out today, for you should have waited for the rain to go way to enjoy her day.

I see you through the walls you put up to keep them out.

I want you to know that no matter how many walls you

put up I will break them all down.

I know you seem to think being on your own will always be your way

to live without feeling disappointed but I know the truth.

You will smile again, and you will bring down all those walls.

Because living behind the glass is nice sometimes but there is so

much more outside those windows you avoid.
